I built the circular Quagis that were in QST several years ago.  They looked
cool, and the 2 meter antenna preformed acceptably, but the 435 antenna was
a disaster, and I wound up using it as a linear quagi (worked fine then).  I
had much better luck on 435 with KG5OA crossed yagi published in the AMSAT
journal.
