Satellite packets systems question

After looking around the AMSAT-NA site about packet satellite systems I am at
a loss for the term BPSK as listed for AO-16,LO-19,and IO-26. Was looking at
a receive system for APRS via these satellites. It gets boring to transmit
and not receive anything...
