R: MARS Climate Observer -- Failure Mode

You are definitely right David,
it is quite 'folkloristic' to see the multi-faceted desperation of all of
those guys trying to blame this outrageously ridiculous failure to the
metric system. They are really trying hard to make it sound like something
that it is not tied to their fabulous world to discharge the blame. One
question: if you are not part of the 'sleepy' team why do you all take it so
personal? Let me ask you something again: in case you would win a big
lottery would you give up 1.3 Billion Yens or 19.2 Million German Marks
against a 10 Million Dollars win (if you were in Japan or Germany)? I am
sure in this case anyone of you won't bother too much about different
systems. This is my two-cents (38 lira if you prefer) comment, I don't
expect nor need an answer. Just use the BB a bit better.
Sergio
