[amsat-bb] "Batton down the shuttles"

Dear Amsat-BB,
    I heard earlier this afternoon that KSC has been evacuated and that
all of the orbiters have been placed in special hangers to ride out
Floyd.  I am wondering how the orbiters are stored/where and also has
this ever happened before with other manned spacecraft at KSC?
