[amsat-bb] How do you work PACSATS?

Hello all. I am interested in working Ko-25 and someof the other PACSATS
but I don't know how to connect to them. I am using a KAM with Hostmaster
II Plus terminal program.
What kind of power is required to work these sats? Cause don't have any 12
element beams.. all I have is a 5/8 wave groundplane and I just built a 4
element quad beam with my VX-5R 6/2/440 HT with 5 watts.
Am i dreaming or is it possible?
