[amsat-bb] 6m - why?

The recent thread isn't the first time the notion of a 6m
satellite has come up. Any particular reason for the interest?

Just curious...a casual leaf through the World Radio TV
Handbook shows far too much Band 1 VHF TV to make an amateur
satellite allocation possible for a long time...
