[amsat-bb] DAC Chips for G3RUH 9600 baud modem

Hello all
I'm building a G3RUH 9600 baud modem and I'm having a great deal of trouble finding a couple of the IC's required.  The parts list calls for:
U9,19 ZN429E-8 (2) DAC (or ZN426E-8), Ferranti or GEC Plessey 
I'm told that these were discontinued in 1997, and are no longer available.  Does anyone know:
a) where I can find a couple of these, or
b) if there's a suitable equivalent?
