Sorry guys.  The context of my 5 watt statement was in a "contention"
environment.  For example the 9 or so PACSATS, AO27, SUNSAT in FM mode,
MIR, SAREX etc.  I did not mean for it to apply to the analog birds.  Yes,
that is quite different.
