Re: AO10 + FD = What a BLAST!

Chris,

Nice to hear that you had good luck on FD with OSCAR-10. I tried, and was
learning my "new" FT726R that I purchased at Dayton this year. On Sat., I
heard ONE station only enough to copy a callsign, but, even though I would
have been happy to make only one contact, it was not to be.

I also listened on several others, even AO-27, and heard nothing. We tried a
complete different set of antennas and coax on Sunday (everyone was there
trying to make me successful!), A couple of satellites even went over at 84
degrees, and still heard nothing. We were able to make SSB contacts on 2M
and 440 MHz successfully, so I think the radio is OK as well.

Anyway, I would like to hear from others that had good luck, so we can
publish in OSCAR Satellite Report. If anyone has pictures of your group
operating satellite, send us a copy to publish.

Thanks!
