Hi Tim.
Just another note on working AO-27 with the HT. I've used the new Yaesu
VX-5R and the MFJ-1717 antenna and have had great sucess in working AO-27.
The antenna is a true 1/2 wave on 440 (Approx 20" long) which helps due to
low power downlink of the bird.
