Thanks to Mike AA9IL for mentioning KK7B's radios,
available as kits, or roll your own. They work. Well.

Matjaz Vidmar S53MV has done work with zero-IF radios
(aka Weaver, but a better description of how they
work) and you can see some results on the Internet.
