[amsat-bb] PPP & satellite communication

Greetings-

I'm doing some research on using PPP as a satellite communications
protocol.  Has anyone ever attempted or heard of an attempt to use PPP in
such a way?  Or has anyone experimented with PPP over an RF link?  I would
love to have any thoughts or reactions on the subject.
