Anyone know . . .

Anyone [known] anything about this. ...

First order of business. PLEASE do not post virus warnings or chain letters
to this mailing list. If there is a serious problem with a virus, you will
hear about it from reputable sources (usually with PGP signatures attached),
along with how to deal with it. The quickest place to check is the "CIAC
Internet Hoaxes" pages:

      http://ciac.llnl.gov/ciac/CIACHoaxes.html

They list commonly seen hoaxes and viruses, but more importantly, they
explain how to identify probable hoaxes and who to report it to.

>>> DO NOT REPORT VIRUSES TO THIS LIST! <<<

That is distinctly off-topic! The only exception would be if you think
you have found a security problem (of any kind) in any satellite-related
software. Everything else is QRM.

P.S. Here's the only plausible reference i've found so far to this:

   http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Heights/3652/SKA.HTM

And whether or not it is accurate, this is NOT a reputable source. It does
say, to summary, that the thing only affects Windows-9x (or possible WinNT),
is basicly harmless, and tells how to remove it. If you are stupid enough
to run programs sent to you via e-mail from unknown sources, then you might
get this sort of thing. No one else need be even slightly concerned about
it. This should be a simple to understand precaution, very much like not
having unprotected sex with a person of dubious HIV status.
