Sam, I agree that there are a lot of hellos, but one everybody is extremely
courteous when someone is trying to copy another stations call. My
experience has been that evryone behaves quite well and gets along just
fine. I just hate to hear the whistling and DTMF tones that I frequently
hear on transcontinental passes. Keep on trying, you'll get through. If I
can do it, anyone can. Good luck and hope to work you soon!
