I wish I could help, Chris. I use a FT50R which is half duplex so I can't
hear myself, although on several passes Bill, W4NML in Idaho has told me
that I was quite strong into the bird, this is with only 5 watts whip a
gain, whip HT antenna. Were you able to make any contacts on the pass? Good
