RE: Main Current in SEDSAT
Mineo, SEDSAT-telem team,
It would be very beneficial to see main power (main current *
main voltage)
in a plot. Since we are using DC/DC converters on the satellite, the
main voltage determines
the main current to a degree ( as well as the power consumption of the
satellite).
The efficiency of the DC/DC converters will be somewhat consistent
around the battery
voltages of 19-21V, and the power consumption (the efficiency changes
but is negligible).
I'd be very interested to see a long history of main power vs time.
Radiation effects on the
electronics should show a slow power trend. Thanks!
