Sorry Bobbie, but in this computer language context the "e" is shorthand
for "exponential" ie, "10" not the natural log.  I know it looks weird, but
there's no argument here.

Sorry again, but look it up!  It's defined as "1".  I know it
doesn't seem "right" but it's definitional.
