I asked the same question some weeks ago, and after receiving many answers I think the best way is to correct the receiver
frecuency (downlink), whatever would be that frecuency (HF, VHF, UHF..). One of the answer said : ".. the operator who is talking
to you don't have to know when you are going to change your tx-frecuency.." (more or less, he said that and was correct).
