The most fun you can have with a scanner is on the
137 and 150 MHz satellite bands. This is where you
find things like the NOAA and Meteor weather satellites,
and the low-orbit Russian navigation satellites.
Yes, they still exist...
These satellite are in low orbits, and are intended to
be heard. They're loud.
