With respect to the discussion about patch antennas.

Is there any reference material available on the web, to read-up on the
subject in more detail?
Are back-fire antennas similiar to the patch-antenna mentioned?


I just joined the list, and have sent two recent items like this one.  If
all three show up, forgive me, but I didn't see any replies and I'm new to
this.
