TrackBox and FT847?

Before I go to the expense of buying a new toy....
Has anyone used the TrackBox with the FT 847?
1) Is a new Eprom necessary, if so which rev is the right one?
2) What is the CAT speed used? still 4800 baud?
3) Any other observations ....
