Aloha -
Just thought I'd drop a note in on some recent MIR connects... for those of
you that have a hard time checking in to R0MIR-1, The following 2 examples
are from a couple recent connects. And yes, sometimes I send them a
message!
Before I get accused of being a MIR-Hog, note that most of the time I come
in, the screen is filled with the messages added to the bottom of this
note, one or two per pass. There are not a lot of stations in the footprint
trying to get into MIR!!!!
Equipment = IC-2AT = 1.5W, Ringo Ranger 2 antenna / sometimes the satellite
beam... TNC... I've never done it with a rubber duck, but friends have
done it with voice QSOs....
It is nice to see they are participating in JOTA !!!
73 and aloha... ted - nh6yk
And remember, to get a QSL, via N6CO... the crew doesn't deal with QSL cards!!!
