AO-27 is linearly polarized and i credit KI0AG for the following, which i
confirm by my experience, AO-27 is vertically polarized until it passes
overhead, after that, it's horizontal until close to the horizon, where i
find it less predictable.
RHCP vs. LHCP? If you're dealing with a linearly polarized antenna on the
other end (vertical or horizontal), it doesn't matter at all on RHCP vs.
LHCP; you're just looking for polarization diversity. But, if the bird(s)
in question are circularly polarized, you had better match that.
