The last weekend, I went to Ham fair at Ariake, Tokyo.
There, ICOM announced new rig, IC-706mk2G. It can operate
on 160m to 70cm.

The output power is as follows.
160m band - 6m band : 100W
2m band : 50W
70cm band : 20W

On catalog satellite interface is listed. So, I asked a ICOM
person at the fair whether it can operate with satellite.
According to his explanation, it is a board to connect another
rig (for example 23cm band rig) for satellite operation.

The price is same of IC-706mk2, 138,000yen.
