As my own Windows 98 learning curve accelerates (I'm a computer tech,
so I see all the problems), I've learned two important things:
1. If you have any problems, take some vacation time and be ready to
spend many hours in front of your computer. Windows 98 seems to be a
_lot_ harder to fix if it blows chunks than Win95.
2. Windows 98 seems less tolerant of hardware _changes_ than 95. In
other words, if you make a major change to your system, like a
motherboard upgrade for example, be prepared to re-install the whole
thing from scratch.
3. (I know, I said two things....) BACK UP YOUR DATA OFTEN!!!!!
