Phase Question
- Subject: [amsat-bb] Phase Question

How does the phase of a satellite affect being able to hear it? The reason I
ask is this evening according to tracking software I had some excellent
passes of Mir over my QTH, but was unable to hear it. The only thing I can
see that differs between this evening's passes and those of other evenings
is the phase the satellite was in? Am I thinking along the right lines?
