Your mileage may vary, but this is my baseline...

   - Subscribe/unsub/address change to correct address,
     not to list.

   - Don't post binaries. Post a pointer so that interested
     people can download whatever it is themselves.

   - Keep private email private, unless all parties agree.

   - Don't assume everybody runs PC/Windows.

   - Email can amplify/obscure emotional context. Use
     caution. Emoticons are helpful.

   - Think about what you're posting. Is it relevant
     to a worldwide audience?

   - DON'T POST IN ALL CAPS.
