Question,    I have been playing with my Drake down-converter, and I can't
copy the 2.4 GHz. mode S,  beacon till it's above 8.5 / 9 degs elevation.
(I hear the 145.826MHz beacon at or just below 1 deg elevation) Is this
normal, or do I need to do a little more work?

    When I do pick the mode S beacon up, it's a strong sig. With or with-out
the pre-amp in line.

    I am using a Conifer 21" dish, and pre-amp.
