CI-V interface

Excuse, if this is redundant.

In the thread concerning multiple rig control..........

Another major rig in the family of ICOM is the 970
It is (was) the satellite rig before the 820

It is no longer available in the US

It's default ID is 2E  in hex and 46 in decimal
( same as 775)

The way it looks to me is this:

In a rig with internal jumpers.............( ie 970)

They are called as follows:

ADD0 ADD1 ADD2 ADD3 ADD4 ADD5 ADD6 
(1)        (2)       (4)       (8)      (16)     (32)      (64)
              X         X         X                    X

the x's are the defaults and add up the 46 deciaml ( 2EH)

I guess if one could maintain TTL drive, you could address 128
different radios if you wrote your software to allow it.
