FT-847 Questions

I just got my new AES catalog and was looking over the FT-847.  I have a
couple of questions that I hope someone can answer.

1)  Does the SAT function support the RS birds?  (2m/10m)

2)  Can you cross band repeat with this rig? (Can I check into the 80m
AMSAT net with my HT from the lawnmower:) )
