2400MHz...

Hey everyone-
Just a couple of quick questions... I am interested in getting a setup
for 2400MHz sat
uplink and downlink...
1.) What are the atmospheric losses like at such a high frequency?
2.) How high are the dangers of exposure to RF radiation at this
frequency?
3.) Is it absolutely necessary to have a downconverter at the preamp...?
If so, to what
frequency is appropriate?
4.) With 4 stacked 30 element yagis, and low loss coax, what is an
appropriate
transmitter power out level? Or is a parabolic dish more sensible
at these sort of
frequencies?
5.) Is there much equipment made by reputable manufacturers at this
frequency?
Sorry about the swag of questions... ;) Thanks to everyone in advance
for your replies...
God bless!
Regards,
Jordan
