Re: Kepler maths etc...

Hi Jordan,

The Satellite Experiementers handbook by M. Davidoff is probably one of the
best intros around. I personally learnt most of what I know about orbital
math from Jim Miller's (G3RUH) plan10 / plan13 software. It is written in
basic and very easy to follow thanks to excellent in line documentation and
clearly written code.

You should be able to find it in source form on ftp.amsat.org

Hope this helps

Subject: Kepler maths etc...

Hey there everyone-

Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any resources on the net
explaining satellite motion mathematically...? I am righting code for
a very simple tracking program at the moment and I need to know the
maths involved... I know it is not that complex, I used to have a book
which explained it by Davidoff but I've lost it!
Would appreciate any help if possible.... God bless you all...

Regards,
Jordan (VK2MNL)
