Yaesu input for FT-847 features

After I read Chuck Gooden's comments from visiting AES last weekend, I sent Yaesu an E-mail.  Part of the reply I received included:

 

"please detail what features in the FT 847 you feel are lacking; we will
be glad to offer comments.  Your input in this regard would be appreciated"
