Jerry-
I wasn't up on AO-27 so I haven't heard exactly what or who said what.
But, it seems to me that we satellite operators have developed into a
group where if you don't have a "satellite rig" you're not even a
second class citizen. Not everyone can afford a big radio with a big
price tag. I'm excited when I have a QSO with a ham using a simple
"dually" radio. Because, I know that here 's a OM/YL that really wants
to work the birds and it's not easy when you'll got 5 kHz tuning. For
everyone's sake and for the continued health of ham radio, PLEASE
remember when you first got into ham radio . . . and how many times
you put your foot in your mouth on the air. I know I lost count!
