Hotel Location and Transportation

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is located in Foster City approximately 8 miles south of San Francisco International Airport. Free airport shuttle busses are provided by the hotel and stop at each airport terminal in the shuttle bus island. It is generally a 10 minute ride from the airport to the hotel. If you plan on arriving by BART depart at Millbrae station and take the shuttle to SFO where the hotel shuttle will pick you up.

The closest commuter rail station for CalTrain is at Hayward Park. The hotel shuttle busses do not normally service the CalTrain station but there are other free shuttles that can pick up and discharge passengers at Hillsdale and Millbrae Stations. Driving Directions

If you are planning on driving to the Symposium there is free parking at the hotel. The hotel is located on the J. Arthur Younger (92) Freeway east of the Bayshore (101) freeway. If you are coming from the Peninsula (red arrows) to East on 92 and exit at Edgewood Road. Turn right at the end of the off-ramp, cross back over 92 and turn right on Fashion Island Blvd. Continue past Bridgepointe Mall and turn right onto Chess Drive.  The Crowne Plaza is on the right just past the light at Vintage Park Drive.

If you are coming from the East Bay (green arrows) exit at Foster City Blvd. and turn left onto Chess Drive. The hotel will be on your left, but you will need to make a u-turn at Vintage Park Drive to cross the center divide.
