AMSAT-NA Microsats - UoSAT
AMSAT is fortunate to have received the assistance of other
professional groups over the years.
Surrey Satellite Technology
donated a suite of file transfer programs for the spacecraft and
ground users. Used on their UoSAT spacecraft such as UoSAT-5/UO-
22
pictured above, the UoSAT/Microsat
file transfer programs were the first amateur radio programs to
take the short pass times inherent in Low Earth Orbit into
account, and provide a fully automated file transfer mechanism
with built-in checkpoint/restart.
Many other groups have participated in
the Microsat Project.
