Driving Instructions to Hamvention
Hamvention will be at the Hara Arena Complex on the north side of Dayton.

Heading north on I-75, go through downtown Dayton, get off at Needmore Rd (EXIT 28), go west, road changes to Shoup Mill Rd, when you cross Main St, the road becomes Turner Rd, look for the water tower, and turn right on Wolf Rd, there is the Arena and field parking.
Heading south on I-75, before you get to downtown Dayton, get off on Needmore Rd (EXIT 28) and go west, follow the directions above.
Heading west on I-70, get off at EXIT 29 (state route 48/Main St), go south on Main St 3 miles and turn right on Shiloh Springs Rd., 1 mile to Hara Arena
Heading east on I-70, get off at EXIT 49 (Salem Ave), go south on Salem Ave 4 miles and turn left on Shiloh Springs Rd., park at the mall and ride the bus or go 1 mile to Hara Arena
AMSAT is staying at the Hampton Inn in Fairborn. Other hotels in the immediate area
of the Hampton Inn include the Fairfield Inn, Ramada Inn, Fairborn Holiday Inn, Red Roof Inn and the Homewood Suites if additional accommodations are needed.

Driving Instructions to the AMSAT Hampton Inn, Fairborn, OH
The Inn is east of Dayton right off I-675 (about the middle of I-675), very near Wright State University. Whether you are coming from I-75 or I-70, get to I-675 and get off at the N. Fairfield Rd exit.
If you are eastbound on Col. Glenn Hwy turn right on the road between the Taco Bell and Bob Evan's Restaurant. Proceed through the 4 way stop and the motel is on the left-hand side at the end of the road. There are several local restaurants in the shopping area in front of the motel and
about 1 mile away at the Fairfield Commons Mall. The GPS coordinates are listed below.
From the Dayton Airport proceed east on I-70 to the I-675 exit. Take I-675 south to the N Fairfield Rd. exit and turn right at the top of the ramp. You are headed toward Col. Glenn highway, turn left at the next intersection. Turn left between the Bob Evans and the Taco Bell and go straight to the end of the street. Hampton Inn is on the left-hand side.

Directions from the hotel to Tickets (4.7 miles, about 10 mins)
From the hotel head to Colonel Glenn Hwy and turn Right and go a short distance
Make a slight Right hand turn onto US-844 N ramp and merge onto OH-844 N
Take the US-444 Exit toward Fairborn, Turn Left on to OH--444 (Go for about 5 mins)
Turn Right at Main St., Tickets is about 2 mins on your left.
AMSAT Hampton Inn to Hara Arena
Route A - Northern route
From the Inn turn left on Colonel Glenn Hwy, continue until you get to Woodman Dr (historic McDonald's across the intersection), turn right (north) onto Woodman, contine by Springfield Pike where the road becomes Harshman Rd, follow Harshman north until it goes west and becomes Needmore Rd, follow Needmore west, as the name changes to Shoup Mill Road and
Turner Road, by the water tower turn right on Wolf Rd to the Arena.
Route B - Southern route, longer, but less traffic
From the Inn, turn left on Colonel Glenn Hwy, stay in the right lane 1/8 mile, get on I-675 South, exit at Route 35 West, follow 35 West, which will turn into 49 going north, follow this until you get to the Turner Road exit, get off and go straight until you see the water tower, turn
left on Wolf Rd and you are there.

From Downtown Dayton
Take Route 48 South (Main St.) and turn left on David Rd. Cross Marshall Rd and Turn right onto Presidential Way. The Presidential is up the hill on the left. About 12 miles SE from Hara.
From the North
Take I-75 South to Rt. 35 East. Take the Woodman Dr Exit. Take Woodman Dr south to Wilmington Pike. Turn left onto Wilmington Pike and go to the first traffic light. Turn right onto David Rd. Turn left onto Presidential Way. The Presidential is up the hill on the left.
From the East
Take 1-70 West to Rt 675 South to Rt. 35 West. Take the Woodman Dr Exit.
Take Woodman Dr south to Wilmington Pike. Turn left onto Wilmington Pike
and go to the first traffic light. Turn right onto David Rd. Turn left onto Presidential Way. The Presidential is up the hill on the left.
From the South
Take I-75 North to Rt. 675 North to Exit #7 (Wilmington Pike/Bellbrook).
Turn left onto Presidential Way. The Presidential is up the hill on the left.
From the West
Take Rt. 35 East to the Woodman Dr Exit. Go south on Woodman Dr to Wilmington Pike. Turn left onto Wilmington Pike and go to the first traffic light. Turn right onto David Rd. Turn left onto Presidential Way. The Presidential is up the hill on the left.
Marion's Pizza at 1320 North Fairfield Rd. 45432
From the Hampton Inn go to Col. Glenn Highway and turn right. Go approximately 1/8 mile to the intersection with N. Fairfield Rd and turn right and head south 3.7 miles. When you cross Old Route 35 you will see a shopping center on the left-hand side. At the intersection of N. Fairfield
Rd and old state Rt. 35, there is a Sunoco gas station on your left and a Friendly's restaurant across the street. Marion's is directly behind the Friendly's restaurant. Go through the intersection and turn left into the shopping center. Marion's Pizza is on the left and slightly up hill as you make the turn.
From the downtown Dayton area follow US Route 35 East toward Xenia. Exit at North Fairfield Rd. and go north about 0.7 of a mile and turn right into the shopping center. Marion's will be on the left-hand side and slightly up hill as you enter the shopping center. APRS users should look
